As an aspiring pilot at a 141 school I am more than likely going to have to complete a BFR. I think it is ridiculous that I am going to have to prove to a instructor that I can perform the private pilot maneuvers to their satisfaction. This is something that is meant for weekend pilots and retired airline pilots. Your BFR is supposed to restart counting down every time you get a new certificate or rating. And through this 141 school it is going to take over two years to get my instrument certificate and my private licence.
